...............................About BRIGHT FUTURE FARMS...................................

In the early 80's Bright Future Farms embarked on an intensive project to

identify , seek out and aquire the best individuals possible representing

direct descent from " Maddon's Bright Eyes ".

                                                ...............................

The criterion for this breeding program were that individuals have excellent

performance and/or production records while maintaining the greatest

possible percentage of genes derived from " Maddon's Bright Eyes " and her multiple AAA and stakes producing full sister " Plaudit's Babe ".

All of the individuals in the foundation of this program fulfilled this requirement !

                                                          ......................

" DEE BAR BRIGHT " was chosen as the foundation stallion for this program:

                                         - He was New Mexico Quarter Horse Association Champion 2 year old in 1972 and 3 year old in 1973

                                         - He had five official starts at the quarter mile in those two years and his average time was 21.95 seconds !

"DEE BAR BRIGHT " ( Ruidosa stakes winner of $ 57,011 ) was an absolutely breathtaking black stallion standing 16 hands and weighing 1350 pounds.

" Dee Bar Bright " derived 31.25 % of his genes directly from " Maddon's Bright Eyes " and her full sister " Plaudit's Babe "

" Dee Bar Bright went on to become a multiple AAA and stakes producing stallion.

                                                              ............................................

Foundation mares in the program included the likes of " My Lady Boone " , " See Her Go " and " Miss 747 " . These mares also derived an average of about 30 % of their genes from " Maddon's Bright Eyes " and " Plaudit's Babe ".

                                 ...................................................
Today the foundation horses are gone but the individuals in this herd represent

the finest concentration of " Maddon's Bright Eyes " breeding in the world today !
